Didnt see this coming......
It will take Kear a season to get to grips with the league and having to do it on a shoe string budget wont be easy.

Kear was in for the Cas job until Crusaders withdrew their application. How he didn't get the Cas appointment from that point I'm not sure but if he does go to Batley I hope he doesn't consume too much of their salary cap because the job that Rhino & the Batley club have done in recent seasons is absolutely brilliant. They're a great little club and it's always nice to visit their stadium, they're competetive and to win last seasons NRC was no average achievement.

You're probably having a laugh here, orange top, but I've actually heard that Harrison IS interesting Leigh and Warren Jowett is linked with Fax! Rumours, eh? Wouldn't be surprised if Calland ends up at Batley but there is NO way Kear and Noble will come "down" to the Championship. |
