With the report above that Joe Burgess is the latest Wigan player to take up the challenge of the NRL should we brace ourselves for the possible moves of Watkins,Hardaker or Hall if they show up well on the coming tour?
TBH i can't see Hall moving now, he is 27 and has a bumper long deal and i think if he was to do it he would have gone or intimated he wanted to go after the WC.
The club has done a lot of things right over the past 10 years but perhaps the biggest feat has been to keep practically all the main stars happy and together.People can say that is easy because we are winning trophys year in year out but Wigan have been doing that the past few years and it does not stop the top players being cherry picked.
I think that there is a strong chance things may change in the near future and Hardaker and Watkins may decide to jump ship in 2016. I would wish both well but if they do go that would well and truly leave us in the poop.

| Both Hall and Watkins have (IIRC) very young families. Not convinced their respective partners would want the upheaval of being moved 13,000 miles away from their support networks.
Hardaker's recent indiscretions are likely to have NRL clubs thinking twice. Might change if he has a good Four Nations, but at the moment I can't see any one of them taking a gamble on him.

| Watkins didn't improve in 2014 and it's arguable that his level of performance went backwards a bit. I doubt he's currently being picked up on any NRL clubs radar. Hall was the most erroneous player in SL in 2014 which suggests he'd be more of a liability in the NRL than an asset. Both players are very fortunate to have been selected for the 4N down under. Lack of alternative options I guess. As for Hardaker? He's got plenty of growing up to do yet.

| Watkins partner is not interested in moving abroad. But that does not rule out Union.
Hardaker had enquiries earlier this year from 11 clubs in the NRL, and received actual offers from 7 of them. But decided against them.

What's he still doing at Leeds if he had 7 offers from NRL clubs?
According to you, Hardaker will never ever forgive the club or McDermott for spoiling his holiday plans last year.

You need to keep up. Old material dished out is one thing, but keep with the times shag.

| It seems the slightest sniff of interest and Wigan players are off.

So you could play alongside real stars like Paul Gallen, Andrew Fifita, Luke Lewis, Michael Ennis, Aaron Woods, Robbie Farah, Chris Lawrence, Sam Tomkins, Shaun Johnson, Ryan Hoffman, Manu Vatuvei, Benji Marshall, Brett Morris, Josh Dugan and Co?

Heard the same for Hall.
People must remember it isn't like football and their WAGS who probably spend their days just shopping and get their nails done. RL players wives/GF's will have their own lives/careers as RL players don't take home the huge amounts footballers do. If the NRL comes calling it isn't the nailed on certainty that some think that the player will accept.
I think that's why maybe we'll see more moves in the future like the ones made last year for Baldwinson & Tonks as younger players will usually have less ties and be more open to going.

| Ah William, you tedious cretin, must you thrust your hateful nonsense on every thread? If anyone thinks that Hall, Watkins and Hardaker haven't had plenty of offers from NRL and RU then they're deluded. We seem to have something good going at Leeds somehow.

Of course they will, some more serious than others but definitely some. I think the ones that are going there are the ones who are probably looking for a move there in the first place. Does anybody really think the Dragons watched Warrington for the last few years and thought "nah don't fancy Chris Hill, we want Mike Cooper instead."
