| After watching another hard fought Leeds win tonight I was wondering how you feel as supporters right now?
In the last two weeks you must feel as though normal service has been resumed, yet not long ago the fear of the unthinkable was eating into quite a few minds.
I know Leeds have had their injury problems (I do watch Sky quite a lot) but they haven’t been alone. But there appears to be an appetite in the players once again, can anyone explain that one to me?
I digress, so do you feel annoyed at the wasted season or relieved that on recent performances you will blow away all before you?

| C'eet la vie.
Sometimes in any org/workplace things go badly. Credit to all involved for pulling it round - partly personnel, partly attitude, partly structure. Problems seem to be (partially) solved for now. Crack on.

| The day I'm annoyed by a win over Wigan is the day I eat my soiled underpants as penance for being a d**k.

| Relieved more than anything, it was accepted that it was unlikely we'd get any silverware this season, but at least be challenging and towards the top. The past few weeks have shown the silver lining, time to smash the middle 8s and if we can carry this recent form into next season I'm sure we'll do just fine.

| Don't think anyone at Headingley expected a seamless transition after the loss of such great players hence the fans have been brilliant. We knew it was going to be tough. Other factors out of our hands played a part too but we've had to get on with it! Mac summed it up perfectly when he said "No one feels sorry for us!". Hopefully we can put on some good displays in the middle 8's and keep our SL place. If it's looking dodgy we can just bring in some big name signings and break the "spirit" of the salary cap! It's been done before I believe!

| Meh....if we'd have had an average season hanging around 6th/7th no one would've been too surprised and pretty much the same end result of no trophies. Did sound a bit cliche when McDermott said it during the year but just maybe going through this might be a good learning experience for the players in the long run rather than say doing a St Helens who might not think they're too far off looking at the table but have been very poor in reality. I'd say those currently at the top of the table will be more worried about Leeds getting their act together in 2017 than being concerned about Saints next year being a threat.
I think like Hull and Warrington used being well out of reach of the top 4 come Super 8's time to approach this year quickly and strongly I think what we've gone through will be a great motivator during pre-season to start the 2017 season strongly.

The fans have been more than brilliant - home attendances are actually up on last year.

| I'm not getting too carried away. I thought both teams were poor to be honest last night and Wigan did have a fair few missing, i expected us to win given the respective line ups.that said, it was nice to see us dig in and that was a two point win that would have been a twenty point loss a couple of months ago so its a platform.
I don't think we need wholesale changes. A quality half back, maybe a backrower but generally the squad still has a lot of quality within it. The biggest change we could do with still lies in the coaching team. I think Mac has taken us as far as he can and we need a new regime, new voices and ideas to refresh things moving forward. I don't think this will happen now with recent results, and the likely cruising of the middle 8s though.

| I think frustrated might be a more appropriate word.
And let's not get carried away just yet, the middle 8s will be a tough experience and we need to respect the teams we play.

| I'm not either! As some have pointed out to make the eight would have papered over a few cracks.
We need to work harder in the eights to avoid the drop but if we can do that then we can make the correct adjustments as a club to move forward.

| Relieved about what?
Leeds still have a middle 8's tournament to get through.

| Is Lowes still around on the coaching staff? In addition to players coming back, the attitude for defence appears to have returned when he did.
