Gamble that didn't work. You can add size and strength in the gym, you can add skills on the training pitch, but it's hard to add raw aggression and determination which were the things that Justin was missing.

We need to be a little bit careful about replacing the losses in the pack. Whilst the incoming players seem to be better (or better prospects) than those leaving, we need to watch out that we don't go too low on numbers too.

Totally agree. More than any other position, prop forward is a numbers game. You only have to look at Wigan to see that. Glad that Sangare has gone (and good luck to him at Salford) but we can't leave Arthur hamstrung with only 5 senior props. Not if he wants to play a power game.

The Sangare contract extension was possibly the worst decision ever made by the club. I can’t believe they were that stupid.

Such a bizarre decision by the club, typical of thinking at the time. Not the lads fault for sure, and I wish him well for the future. However, it feels like we're at the birth of a new era, regardless of how long BA stays, just need to grasp it with both hands.

Just more off season churn is how I see it. Once they start on some of the home grown deadwood I might get a bit of belief back.

Holroyd could play 2 games a season for the next 3 years, I'd still keep him over sangare.
