I don't think people knew one way or the other and from the article neither did Luke until recently. People did not want it to be career ending they just feared it maybe given other injuries they had seen in the past.

Good to know the lad still had the chance to play again.

Like I said at the time, he DID break his leg and DID dislocate his ankle and he DID do ligament damage.

And I was also correct when I said they feared he'd never play again.

I've spoke to Walsh recently and he doesn't expect to be back playing for a minimum of 6 month and possibly up to 9 month.

"I'll go home after the Grand Final to do my rehab and recovery and then return for some of pre-season. I've already been around the boys and into training. I've been doing weights and stuff. I'm sure the injury shouldn't take too long to sort out."

That quote doesn't sound like the timescale you're talking about

He did it in July, 6 months would take him to Jan, 9 months to April, if he's playing by April, he will have done well, anything earlier will be a bonus, but definitely not playing in January!

Impossible to predict but from people who have spoken to him 8 months out was mentioned.

He's clearly just pregnant and all this leg stuff is just a cover up.

It nay depend on what fixtures we get as ti whether it's a month earlier or later. You imagine they want him to get an easy run out first.
