Barba won it on playing well for 3 months, came 3rd out of the 3 that were nominated, thought Roby was miles better than him.

I said on a previous thread he's been rugby leagues version of Mezut Ozil, fantastic player no doubt but when he's really been needed to grab a game by the scruff of the neck he's disappeared.

Even the modern day wingers who get no service will chip in with multiple drives and earn good yards. If there are no other apparent contenders it has to go a player who did light up the league for a decent spell and encourages kids to play.

That’s the worst MOS announcement ever, its disgraced the name of the award.

MOS shouldn't go to the latest show pony IMO. Barba went missing when it mattered.

I don’t agree with any of the winners of the awards, but the players voted on MOS so that is fair enough, he is the rightful winner.

A bloke with a drugs ban winning MoS, great role model.

What did the winner of young player do that was so wrong ? Or coach or club?
