Last year Toronto whined about the cost of not playing play off games in blocks and now they're again cutting their cloth to save money. Given they make not one cent in profit, this is a clear sign that their is a finite amount available each year and it also points to them NOT getting into SL for whatever reason this year as a catastrophe.

Are the Emperors new clothes starting to fray a little?

It does seem odd, and surely it won't save them that much money.

Why?

Because I have already had enough of them. They have spent more money than most SL sides and swagger their arrogance week in and week out.

I feel they need to be careful as they are not cracking any pots and they have been close to losing a good few times this year which should be impossible with the squad they have assembled.

I am hoping that Leigh, Fev, or Toulouse can upset the apple cart, although the odds are significantly stacked against them !

The sooner they get promoted and start getting stuffed good style, the better !

They were never going to last long , its been one big joke . The sooner they go the better

It will be interesting to see if the rules on P&R are changed next year if TWP do get promoted.

Toronto will be in SL next season without a shadow of a doubt. The RFL have basically made this happen with the trans Atlantic final for which for some teams could be 2 or 3 jetsetting games in a matter of weeks. The final should have been a neutral venue which it always has.

Next year will be very interesting in the Championship with London no doubt coming the other way. Leigh and Toulouse will obviously go for it big time, especially if 2 go up !

I have no love for Toronto which is plain to see, but it is slightly worrying when attendances are no bigger than they were when they were in league 2 !
