Was hoping it would be the actual application, not just a press release. Whoever comes in is going to find it tough, Leigh have the infrastructure and facilities, nobody can question that. Personally I think having Salford amd Leigh along with Wigan and Saints is a bad idea. but then I can't really see a preferable candidate in Featherstone, Bradford or York. Toulouse would be great for the French game, some interesting days and weeks ahead.

Hard to see what Leigh would bring to the league TBH. Their previous appearances in SL have been nondescript to say the least.

In 2006 they entered the UK set up, got promoted to the championship, but in 2012 returned to the French league (what were the reasons exactly ?), anyway they lasted 6 years, which was twice as long as Toronto and should be congratulated I guess. So in 2015 they are again back in the English game, gained promotion to the championship via the play-offs, So they have now been in the champ for 3 seasons but they are now destined for SL because they are based in the south of France and would provide some kind of derby for the Super Leagues darlings Catalans. So let me know the other reasons that they should be allowed in, apart from the fact that they are not an English club.
