at least the Tories recognise that the RL World Cup is happening within the next few years, and are pledging to make it a success.

None of my candidates have a declared interest in Rugby League, which could have been a tempter for me to go with them.

I think we have to be realistic (and all sports). After the election there's going to be a huge tightening of the public belt. Sport and culture will be one of the first, and most deeply cut targets. If you really want your rugby to influence the vote, you simply need to know that the RFU=Conservative. If that works for you, tick the blue box.

On a separate issue, anyone who thinks hung parliaments and coalitions result in a mess is historically ignorant. But that's a sinbin thread, I'm sure.

Imagine how much better the sinbin would be if I was allowed to broadcast my opinions on there again..
