On a positive note from tonight, I thought Adam Walne had a fantastic game & was by far & away our best forward, topped off with a fitting try! If he can do that against Wigan & build on it he's got the makings of a top prop!

Guest chatterer Cooper was pretty impressed by him in summary on BBC Manc Chester.

For his age he's a big unit, pretty lucky that he didn't get grabbed by a different SL team when we had to let him go.

For all the doom and gloom from certain factions on here it's guys like Walne/Snyed/Fages/Evalds offer hope to be sprinkled with the Doc's money no object signings.

Walne went OK as did James & Emmitt but we saw the start of Nobby's regime with the boring (literally) inside ball to the props back to the markers which really is old hat and went out with Noah & protege Karl Harrison. Not what I want to see but there we are...................he is the coach. Lets hope our backs see more of the ball at the HJ.

Adam Walne is looking like a good prospect , made an outstanding break in the second half too ( outstanding for us ) .
hopefully his younger Brother will be as usefull.

He tries to be all edgy and clever but just makes me feel sorry for him. Like a ginger kid trying to fit in...

Sad to see you on Nobles case already after years of defending numerous failures appointed by Wilky.

We hardly have a great deal of scope to morph into a fearsome pack who off load in every tackle.

I'll settle for Noble bringing solidity down the middle and think anyone in his right mind will see that the Walnes and the rest of the young forwards at the club will learn a great deal from someone with the reputation of Noble.

I think Marshy is really a Salford fan, because like many of our posters he is always looking for negatives.

Fantastic another fan who gauges their opinion on the team / players on the say so of Dearden, Hunt and Kinsella. Maybe should attend a few games and you might see the flaws in players, as well as the good points (not all negative you see

I do attend games, sad thing is that pesky bothersome matter of work gets in the way.

It was the guest Mike Copper from Warrington who really enthused about Walne.

Not daft enough to think the players don't have negative points but if you can't see Walne is a talent then attending all the games in the world hasn't given you a firm grasp of what is needed.
