Yes it was Brian. Used to live next door to him on Higher Fold.
Could hear Brian all over HP shouting "cum on, get your half time draw tickets here" as he weaved amongst the crowd.

Brian Ward is a super chap I've seen Wardy all over Lancashire Yorkshire and Cumbria watching nd supporting Leigh and you can hear him urging his team on and calling the ref from miles away if you break Brian Ward open you will find Leigh Centurions written all the way through him
