Don't know if there's been a thread previously about E-Tickets for matches at the LSV. You can buy tickets from the LSV website and print them on your printer. There's a transaction fee of 62p. Saves having to queue at the ticket office before a game.

Good idea if you ask me, works on the trains.

And planes.

Arriva buses have an E-Ticket where the ticket is displayed on your mobile phone. Could be a problem if your mobile battery goes dead just as the bus arrives.

That's a fantastic idea, hope it's well advertised as there aren't too many football sides that are capable of managing such a system, never mind RL.

not a bad idea! but. . . . as we dont swipe or scan tickets how will they turnstile person know if the number on the ticket hasnt already been used?

Very impressed with this! Needs to be linked up to the official site so that you can just click and get taken directly to the page to buy tickets for that game. Surely DParky is already on this?





Presumably with this kind of system now in place they will have to bring the back the scanners as was used early in the first season? Otherwise it cannot work.

It prints with a barcode on it so presumably they will start using the scanners on the turnstiles again.

It is a fantastic facility if it is policed correctly at the point of entry, otherwise it will be chaos. Lets hope they are not easy to copy.

It isn't Leigh Rugby at all its the LSV they are in control of all ticketing matters (and always have been) Leigh Centurions just provide a staff member in a partnership agreement, 'jumpers4stix' was refering to the LSV web site (he/she must have been as there is nothing about it on the Leigh Centurions one).
Plus I don't think it applies to games (well Leigh Centurions ones anyway) at the LSV stadium as they have match day ticket printers that print on a special ticket, but I will clarify when Andrew gets home.
