I hear a rumour that perhaps our Sean Penkywicz dad is taking or there at leigh, if you do get him then i would have thought it be nailed on that Sean would also join you. Has anyone else heard this ?.

Just to clarify, i am not starting a rumour and am purely interested due to the potential of losing sean.

His Dads firm often sponsor games etc at leigh, so I don't think that would have any bearing on where Sean plays.

at the moment i think they will link us to anyone and everyone. Hope we release news of somebody taking over before the final. i think it would be a massive boost for us

The 'rumour' of our potential new owner that I heard was a different name.

In that case i hope it turns into serious depresion with talks of administration etc until the 17th of July when a potential owner see's the best rugby league final in many a year and comes in to buy up the runners upand cheer everyone up.

How long have Fax been up for sale?

We aren't, dont even know who owns us in fairness, I know that lots of our income comes from the Cash Fax lottery. You'll be fine, out of all the clubs in the Championship, Leigh and Fax are about the only 2 in my opinion that if i had money i would invest in. Fev wouldn't get the steam of my .........and no others i can see ever going anywhere.

Our 2 teams have great passionate supporters, Good teams on the pitch and decent stadiums, albeit rented but still good facilities.
