Yes, I'm sure the club really haven't considered this, nor had their hands tied somewhat by the RFL and maybe even Leeds. That's exactly the kind of fresh thinking this club needs. |

The game was due to be played on the Friday anyway, what's the fuss? Wigan v Saints on the Saturday and last day of the Premier League on the Sunday leaves the club with Friday.

People moaned that Sunday got poor crowds so wnated Friday night. The game's now on Friday night leaving the other 2-days for other sports on TV.
Also, people may be going away for Bank Holiday weekend so Fri may actually attract more people than a Sunday.
4 of us can now go but couldn't if is was on Sunday.
