| Looks to me like we are not in a good position and have one of two roads to follow. The decision is Kens ultimately but this is the biggest crossroads since 2001.
1) In Anderson we totally trust and it must be accepted that our current situation is purely down to ill fortune with injuries, the Ferres situation and unfortunate loss of player form and confidence at the wrong time and that given another couple of months Baloo will turn this around.
2) The coach has lost it and has taken this team as far as he can and we need a change of direction and an input of new ideas and a steadying hand on board as soon as possible.
There is a third option that maybe the answer lies somewhere in the middle perhaps the current malaise was spawned initially by injury and Ferres but a combination of a light squad and poor player on field decision has put the Coach in a situation he can't seem to handle. Do we stick or twist??
As supporters we can only turn up and do a 'Jools' support the team and accept that the club will eventually turn things around whatever and whenever that is. Our role is nothing more than that and we should not criticise or critique what's going on as after all we only pay £20 a game or do we?
I support home and away but don't live in Huddersfield now. So Wigan is a 160 mile round trip, Saints about the same and each home game a 40 mile round trip I know there are plenty of others like me.
My criteria is simple I love the club and like a good afternoons entertainment don't want to really influence things but have experienced a lot of ups and downs over the last 55 years and despite this to most people on here I don't fit the mound of a 'true supporter' because I tend to say if I think something isn't right or when facing a much longer journey home leave a few minutes before the end on both a bad day or a good day.
However do I think the current situation is down to unfortunate circumstance or poor planning?
Probably a bit of both but this season is now a write off as at best we might sneak into the super 8's but in all probability we will be in the middle 8's as I believe the club will stick with the coach and try and ride it out.
A cup run would seriously help to soften the blow and I do believe it's not the time to panic but ensure we survive in the Superleague this season and start planning for next now that our weaknesses have been ruthlessly exposed.
In my opinion Kyle Wood is not the answer in the halves his game management is not good and we should blood Brierley now.
The Connor Murphy partnership is not working Joe Wardle back to centre straight away.
Full back i'm not sure although Jordan Tansey looked the most accomplished in the role recently.
I don't think the pack played too badly today although Mike Lawrence must have tired of the hospital passes Wood kept giving him today.
However as I have said over and over priority is to get at least one aggressive forward to complement Ta'ai for next year two if Patrick goes as for a man playing for his future he is not doing enough.
Mndst Kopjack played 80 mins today and played very well made nonsense of us letting him go to sign Dan Smith on a long contract but as with Wood, Grix and Robbo their have been a few strange contracts handed out.
Every player has time to prove their worth but they need to put up their hands now.
I will trust in Ken Davey to do the right thing he has more than earned that right however as a true long time supporter I reserve the right to feel concerned about where we are and whilst I will always support I have grave misgivings about the path we are on as the performances and apparent fitness levels since we put this years plan into action don't appear to be working and they may need to change

| The other thing that we need to realise is ken Davy knows more about what is happening than we do- if the lads aren't playing for Anderson like some are claiming he will be aware of that. If they are willing to and its other circumstances he will know that too. He knows which of your scenarios is the true one. At the end of the day it's his club and his money- he can do what he wants!!!

Of course he can but like all businesses if you serve up a poor product the customers vote with their feet and if you fail to foster and inspire the spirit around the club by being too aloof and saying 'sod' the fans only the staunch and stalwart will remain

| I don't think the size of the squad is the issue really. We didn't expect to lose all the players we have due to injury. We are usually very lucky with injuries. It's no fact for me but I think Anderson probably spent a large portion of the money we got losing a few players on buying two quality players in Rapira and Hinchcliffe to help us in the big games. I thought it was a smart decision in pre season. Minus the injuries and add Ferres to the mix and we are probably in the top 4.
However I can't help but think there is some unrest in the camp and some of our players attitudes are all wrong. Do we blame the players or the coach?

| Don't forget the players will be low on confidence and morale and frustrated due to the fact that they are losing and especially if they read some of the stuff aimed at them individually and collectively.
Doesn't automatically mean there is unrest in the camp, there could be but it's hardly gonna be posted on the website or out in the public eye.

| It is difficult to look for any positives this season.
The recruitment has been poor, the team look Tubby and unfit. The changes that were made have not worked and that's a Fact.
Whoever is responsible should go befor it too late
Come on Ken, its your call act Now.

The changes that have been made, have been forced upon us through retirement, adultery and injury, thats Fact. They weren't planned you know, but this season isnt some great Anderson masterplan.
There are some salient points with regards recruitment and a light squad to be fare but on another day we could be sat here with less injures, a more stable first team with better results and in 5-6, which would as some say be paper over cracks but no one would be saying that.
I'm just astounding by the number of knowledgeable conditioners we have on this forum, perhaps they should apply for the job next time round, double up as first team coach perhaps as well as give Davy a few tips on getting round the salary cap to get these 'class' players that just aren't available.
