As I work in Warrington, the first hour off work today, was me being subject to alot of ribbing from all the Wire and Saints fans. For some reason though a lot of the Wire fans seem certain that if the choice comes down to either us or Leeds, they will pick us. Personally I hope they do as this would provide us with extra motivation ......... thoughts?

I'd love a crack at Wire in the playoff semi...
If we can't beat them then fair enough, the better side will go through.

Much prefer to face them at an away game in a knockout scenario.

You sure? I think losing to us means they can pick you. Our victory means we gain a week off and home advantage

Wire can pick Wigan. It's Saints we can't pick as they won the match yesterday and are guaranteed a home game next week.

a Wire team with 2 weeks off will comfortably beat Saints/Wigan/Leeds at home, of that I have no doubt

Yes they can. If they cant pick us that would mean that they would have to pick leeds/hudds because Saints are guaranteed a home play-off after beating us. So that would hardly be a 'club call' would it?

Anyway we've got the big task of beating the only team we havent beaten this year or else were finished.

It would certainly make it interesting if we scrape through the Catalans game and Leeds pump Hudds (which I think they will BTW). Who do Wire choose, a confident in form Leeds or a potentially "battle weary" Wigan?

Has anyone read the comments regarding club call by Tony Smith in todays League Express? Arrogance has to be the blokes second name!!!

If we do scrape through against Catalans and Wire do pick us , it will be a short turn around as we will play Friday night!
