Thats part of the competition,those with Photoshop (or crayons)are invited to put in their own designs and submit them by tomorrow lunchtime.

Blue and white hoops

Anyone had a sneak peak? They usually alternate between blue and black so I assume this one will be blue?

Here's an idea.

Each year why don't Wigan have the away shirt in the colours of one of the boroughs amateur clubs.

So one year it could be St. Judes colours, next year Orrell St. James, then Shevington, then St. Pats etc. etc.

I would also for that year give a free season ticket to every registered player for the nominated club.

Obviously there is a cost involved, but it would be a brilliant reward for all the hard work done by our local amateur clubs in producing the players they have in the past and continue to do so for Wigan.

I was told its purple.

But I hope that Lippys comment that he has heard that is Purple has nothing to do with Union.
Meaning that the England Union team turned out against Australia in Purple and then Ashton and Farell against South Africa lead out junior players from the clubs they themselves used to play for before signing for the Wigan junior system .

Thats a very good idea RG, it would attract the young kids from those clubs to maybe get an away top.
