| 2 year deal for Sarginsson and 4 year deal for Clubb.
Big commitment to Clubb by Wigan.

| Good signings IMO. Add great depth to an already great squad. Sarginson has good potential but will be interesting to see where Clubb plays.

| I can see Sarginson replacing Thornley in the centre with Thornley possibly moving to the wing. I like Thornley but he needs to learn to look for his winger more instead of using a left foot step to cut inside.
I see Clubb as someone to push Harrison Hanson and to fill in for O'Loughlin when he's injured with Flower taking over Mossop's role.

Can't see Thornley being a better wing option than Burgess mate

| I am sure they will have a plan for Clubb and they need to get him at the club asap and start working on him.
In his case we need to decide now where we intend on playing him and get him conditioned to play that position. The Prop/Secondrow/Centre does not work for him. We need to get him specialised asap I feel if he is going to have a chance at success at Wigan.

| The Sarginson signing certainly gives us options in the 3/4s. Basically means him, Thornley, Gelling, Burgess and Manfredi are fighting for 2 places. I think we'll see a few diiferent combinations from this 5, and I also think Sarginson, Burgess and Manfredi will spend plenty of time out on loan/dual-reg.
The Clubb signing is a bit more of a puzzler, especially on a 4 year deal. Judging from Wane's comments on the website he's going to be used as a forward. If we presume Farrell and Hansen will continue to start, he's challenging Pettybourne, Hughes and Burke for a bench spot.

I see Clubb as a replacement for Eric

| Maybe they are hoping for a similar impact with Clubb as Andy Coley had. It seems like a similar sort of signing, albeit on a longer contract.
I'll be honest though and say I haven't seen much of either of these guys. Can't say I've ever gone out of my way to watch London because they usually provide the least interesting games in the competition.

| We don't half have a lot of forwards at the moment:
Props - Flower, Crosby, Taylor, Dudson, Hopkins, A.Powell, Greenwood
Back rowers - Hansen, Farrell, O'Loughlin, Pettybourne, Clubb, Hughes, Burke, Lloyd, Lever

| I've always liked Sarginson. He is a very skilful player and could do a utility job for Wigan in very much the same way that Ratchford does for Wire.
Clubb up until two years ago looked an excellent player, big, fast and powerful. Then he seemed to lose his way. However after just watching his interview on Wigan t.v. it is in some ways understandable, so I suppose it's wait and see what Bitcom and Wane can do with him.
Wigan have paid a transfer fee for him.
For those of you wanting to have a look at Sarginson, he's playing at #6 for England Knights v Samoa tomorrow at Salford tomorrow kick off 2 p.m.
Just a thought, that's both England U18 halfbacks (Hampshire & Williams) plus both England Knights halfbacks (Sarginson & Powell) now at Wigan.

Do you know the team Rogues? I assumed Ratchford would be at 6 with Lomax at 1
