New it always said that he would come back injured how long of a job is a quad injury.

At the risk of giving you a frustrating response ... does it matter? We know he's going to miss half of next season whatever condition he returns in.

This desperate reliance Wigan currently have on a player who is patently at the end of his playing career is getting silly.

Recent history tells us O'Loughlin was always likely to struggle to play that many games back to back, just a horrible shame he's fallen at the last hurdle. I did wonder why Bennett didnt give him a rest in one of the easy group games.

This!! Gutted for Lockers, he deserved to play in a World Cup Final.

It would be especially galling for him if we win it ... though I can't see there's much chance.

Because the team looks lost without him.

There was little chance of us winning with him. Without him, I simply cannot see it at all, England seem to suffer the same fate as Wigan without him, he is a very rare player who single handedly transforms teams into much better ones simply by being on the pitch and holding them together. A huge loss.

I just hope this is the last game for Bennett and we dont have any further involvement with him at International level.
He has too many favourites.Lomax on the bench doesnt make sense as does the selection of Heighington over Taylor or McMeeken.
Lomax and Heighington should never have even been selected for the England squad.
