I don't think I’ve ever seen that happen In the top flight professional game before.
Be interesting to see how the RFL deal with this one. They have a lot of inexperienced refs atm and the message that their response gives could be crucial.

he got sin binned along with Ta'ai after the big scrap then as he was walking off he went for the referee and had to be held back by the coaches on the field

After being (rightly) shown the yellow card he had to be held back from the ref by a couple of players the trainer and another match official.
The ref was a **** , and weak which is why it all kicked off- he should have had words with both sides after the Hardaker incident to assert control of the game. But regardless that kind of thing is certainly not something we should be seeing.

Really stupid particularly when the match was won. You imagine he's probably looking at a 3-5 match ban for that.

Translated as: 'Okay, we may have lost (and have a lot less fans than you), but at least we're not a bunch of total sh*theads who approve of players attacking referees.'

The ref was rank bad and reminded of our French friend Mr Alibert. Missed so many poor tackles that when he realised his mistakes gave offside at the next play the ball . He was one tackle behind the players all game .

How does anyone know if Isa was "going for the ref" or or a Huddersfield player who said something? From where we were, behind the posts I don't know how anyone could be 100% sure.
Isa should just have walked off to the sin bin, I guess the refs report will tell us more.
