Looking at the bigger picture however, I don’t fancy another d*cking off Saints especially in a final. Wouldn’t it be great to see Salford get there and get a crack at them? As a fan of the game and not just Wigan, could it be a kiss of life for a dying sport if Salford pull it off?

Seriously, where is this idea coming from that Salford would have a better chance than us of beating Saints? It's self flagellation on an epic level. Jesus, get a grip. We've beaten them twice at the AJ Bell and twice at our place this season, so where are you getting your projections? We have been in more finals this last decade than you can shake a stick at, and have arguably more proven big game players than any other SL club. Stop embarrassing yourselves, and the club.

I’d be supporting Salford all the way at OT but I hope with every part of me that they get beat this week and I won’t be doing that.

I do think it would better for rugby league if Salford won. I want us to win but would be happy for Salford and the sport overall if they get there.
