Good to have an extra body in the squad especially at prop. He starts training with the squad next week with the aim of getting him available to play in a couple of weeks.

He’s definitely needed with us looking light in the prop department. Especially considering most of our experienced props are out.

Looks to be in response to the Burgess rest. No pressure to get him back now. I think Singleton will go pretty well for us now we have a couple of good metre makers in Bullock and Havard.

As you say we can let Burgess have the time that clearly needs to see if he can overcome his injury.
Havard, Bullock, Byrne, Flower, Partington & Singleton on paper is pretty decent albeit with no consistent 100 metres+

Straight replacement for Flower, younger and less injury prone hopefully.

Was pleased when we secured him for next year even better news given the current climate and injuries that he signs now.

Never going to make huge meters but he has a nasty side which I think we lack and whilst not the biggest he is all elbows and knees and can be quite a handful to tackle and hurtful in defence.

Brings something to the table that we currently don’t have for this year and beyond.

Pretty happy with the Singleton signing, he’s solid in attack and D and IMO it’s what we need. Someone steady and able to do the tough stuff. Makes sense to bring him in now.

Good move, if we cast our minds back to the end of last season when all the kids were out on their feet another experienced body will be vital when the fixtures start coming thick and fast.

I agree very awkward running style, he looked shaky after comming back from an injury for Leeds like he was favouring one of his legs. If fully fit he is mobile and in the current rules he could tighten up the defence around the play the ball
