we dearly need more of his enthusiasm for the game within the team

Agree his effort and enthusiasm cannot be faulted. However his skill levels aren't good enough to warrant him taking up a quota spot. He is not creative enough to be a half back and his distribution isn't good enough to be hooker at Super League level. If players were judged on character, effort and enthusiasm alone he would be up there with the best in the world, unfortunately thats not the case. He's given us great service and has occasionally produced a bit of magic to score a try or win us a game but in my opinon we need more from a quota player, especially in such a pivotal position.

Yes KK in terms of effort and putting your heart on your sleeve he's given his all and has been a great ambassador for the club. He's been through some very tough times in his personal life and has always bounced back and got through it which is great testament to his character. Unfortunately when it comes to ability, by no means is he poor but he is limited. If he were English then I'd say definitely keep but in my opinion we need more from our quota players

I think we would get more skill from sam if he was less knackered from having to do the forwards tackling. When you watch games back on TV, look who gets the tackles in on the oppositions big men. Sam has given his all and will hopefully with us or some time (hopefully we have more time)

Sam is a very good player and in my opinion well worthy of a quota spot. His commitment and effort cannot be faulted and he can also provide a sprk or a special moment that others can't.
