We have been reduced to playing Sykes at stand off so I can see why we'd want a short term signing at least. Briggs has looked well off the pace and Southernwood's just not ready yet.

He has offered very little since his return, by way of availability as much as anything else.

You already know what to expect. Can be brilliant, but everything has to be just right for him to produce what he's capable of.

You would presume this means we may have someone lined up, but if not i wouldnt mind seeing Briggs here in a swap deal to see what JK could get from him.

Think thats a big call to be honest. He has the tools to be a very good half, great kicking game and leads his teams round the pitch well.

He is not your running half more an organiser, but certainly think he has a decent future, needs a bit more size to cope with SL week in week out and he seems a bit of a late bloomer in that regard, but I think the potential is there.

Re BJ hopefully this will open up a spot and cash for a further signing, whilst on his day a very effective half his day is few and far between which is a shame.

Perhaps, but he won't live up to his potential unless he has a personality transplant. I don't know him personally but if he can get Mopsey and Kear to agree then it says a lot.

I actually think he has the personality that all good halves have, but that is my opinion.
