Following on from some posts on the Newmarket thread.
If as I believe, one or both of Wakefield and cas will get booted out of SL if either fail to deliver a ground, would you agree or disagree to the following scenario:
Wakefield are on with NM and GH isn't looking like happening, cas will get the boot from SL if they do not join Wakefield at NM.
Wakefield obviously do not own NM, and it's purpose is to provide facilities to local sporting clubs, cas would have the right and Wakefield could not rightfully object.

If it ever happened, which I seriously doubt, it wouldn't matter what we thought. We'd have no say on the matter.

As much as I hate Cas I would hate to see them loose super league status, just as the majority of the bed sharers hated seeing us potentially loosing ours. so yes I would ground share.

Newmarket will be a community facility for the city of Wakefield & district situated in the middle of the district so why not.Remember it is not WTRLFCs stadium it will be run by the community trust. I was told this week it may be on the cards as tesco don't like where wheldon road is situated and have a preferred site elsewhere

That answers the opening question in so much as we would have no choice, would i be happy, well no not really i would rather they played at GH.

So long as it was at Newmarket I could live with a ground share so both teams stay at the top table.It would not be the Wildcats call and would be up to the trust if it came about.Was this the thinking when Newmarket came about as easy for both fans to get to the ground makes you wonder.

I'd expect the stadium to be branded as Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and wouldn't want to see any compromise on that given that we've been involved from the off and would be the anchor tenants while Cas would be short term tenants.

As long as the Cas fans respected our new stadium I'd be happy enough for them to play games there.

Have I missed something? When did Wakefield have detailed planning permission passed? I thought NM was going through a Pulic Enquiry and therefore has no planning permission yet?
And I though GH has been given full planning permission? Aren't Cas now waiting for permission to be given to Opus to build on the WR site then funds will be available for building at GH?
Although neither stadium is guaranteed, I think the question is a bit of a presumption.
