Surprised to see a couple in the Leeds squad too...Donaldson and Mellor!

If there’s one thing we need to learn from last season is not to play any player who’s not 100% fit...and by that I mean injury free and not match fitness that comes with games.

There is absolutely no point this season bringing players back too early for them to aggravate the injury and miss more games...

I think Senior is just there to make up the numbers, I doubt he will play.

Hampshire will have to go on the wing if Senior isn’t fit.

Think if senior wasn't fit then bish would be in the squad cos he's made himself avaliable for selection so strange if senior not fit

Hampshire will have to anyway. It was abundantly clear Croft is no way a winger. Gave away a number of repeat sets and made bad decisions running the touch line etc. I’d rather see Gigot on wing and Croft in centre. Croft was good in yard gain and there is a player in there but he’s definitely no winger, definitely a centre or even looks like he could be a useful back rower. Let’s hope senior is fit then we won’t have to worry about it.

Yeah, Croft has got bags of potential, really like the kid! With Bill out get him over to his natural position of left centre. Remember his debut there last season against Saints lining up against arguably the form centre of the comp that day and looked like he’d played the gsme years!

It’s a good point made about Senior in and BJB out...does make you think Senior is ok to play...

Based on that I’d have Senior/Croft left and Lyne/Hampshire right which isn’t that bad!

I’d put Gigot into the halves and let him prove his signing is worthy and save Bailey for another day. Gigot has shown in the past he’s got the kicking game we badly lacked at Warrington and with more responsibility on his shoulders he may well rise to the challenge...thought his attitude at Warrington looked top drawer...

I am surprised we have 21 fit players ie, Not Injured ! We are after all consistently the club with the most injuries !
This is becoming a jinx, what players will want to come to the club & not be injured let alone always play with a team with most
of the players are injured. ????

Have to agree Croft looked a fish out of water on the wing. If Senior is fit then there maybe a case for leaving Gigot at right centre pushing Croft back into left centre and putting Lyne on the wing. He has bags of experience there and whilst not ideal for one week only until Tupou, Kay & BJB are available it might well do a job.

Not so sure about putting Lyne on the wing...he used to have a decent turn of speed but in the first match against Catalans Samisoni Langi ran rings round him at every opportunity and Ash Handley will surely have a field day against him ??

Is Konrad Hurrell back for Leeds? That would worry me more than Gash.
