But what has he done wrong? He's named his price and we've paid. If it was worth much less, then that's our fault.

It would depend if when he [ifirst[/i bought BV, he did it with "dirty money."
The court could then look at reclaiming a further asset from him up to the value, if available - of that cost.

For that they would have to prove what money bought which individual items, i’d say that would be extremely difficult to do. Given they have already done the deal rather than go to the full way to court i’d say they are done with his past ‘dealings’ and will now just keep a beady eye in anything he does moving forward. The Belle Vue deal is done and we are stuck with it. It’s over to Yorkcourt now as to whether we actually have to pay anything back or they cover it. That always ends well......

We wont need to keep a "beady eye" on him - the NCA will do that alright.
It was Hussain who gave up in the end without it going to court, not the NCA.
