| There is absolutely no better than watching superleague in summer on a Sunday afternoon. Yesterday was glorious sunny weather and the whole stage just looks so much more than on an evening game.
For some reason last few years we have moved away from Sunday games.
The amount of children yesterday who attended with adults and parents was great to see and you just don’t get that on a Friday or Thursday night. These are our next generation of fans.
Not to mention the benefits of not having to use lighting etc.
I really hope the club moves back towards Sunday afternoon games. What are everyone’s thoughts
?
Can this even be done? Are the weekday games enforced by superleague?

Sundays are great and I absolutely agree about it being the best time for getting kids involved.
There are two issues., firstly, most other clubs now prefer Friday nights, which leaves a shorter turnaround if we've played on Sunday and there was always the perception that Friday's are better for the corporate sales.

| For all the benefits of Sunday, those conditions for the players were really tough yesterday

| Don’t get many games in a year with weather like that Buster to be fair ,and the breaks in play help the players rehydrate. Sundays for me every week , even playing over in the badlands is much easier than taking your life in your hand on a Fri night on that M62 .

| My only issue with Sundays is not being able to go out afterwards to celebrate due to having work the following day, to be fair I haven't had that issue for a long time prior to yesterday.

| Always prefer Sunday afternoons. In the days of winter rugby I still preferred Sundays but also enjoyed the midweek Regal Trophy and Floodlit Trophy games played on a crisp winters evening. The smell of wintergreen and steam coming off both packs at the scrums.

I used to go out in the day time and pub crawl to the stadium on Sunday. Was always a good time. Used to have a few in the old cats bar too years ago.
I don’t really go clubbing these days tbf though. I really enjoyed yesterday though and I hope even if other clubs don’t like it we revert back to Sundays.

| The fact the sun was shining and we won might be clouding a few judgements here. I've been to plenty miserable rainy Sunday afternoon games watching us get pumped. I enjoy both to be honest, but the atmosphere generally follows what's on the pitch and its been pretty awful this season.

| Sunday for me too although I did like the old Saturday 6pm games, purely for the pubs afterwards.

| Have not done away games for a bit due to dire performances. However when you have a chance of winning I tried never to miss any. Sunday afternoons are a no brainer for trips over the hill. I would also imagine the supporters over there feel the same as we do about the M62 on Friday evening. I hear benefits of Friday night corporate, but I also must wonder how many away supporters we lose from the gate too by playing on Friday evenings

| Sundays for me. Difficult to get to Friday night games after work and as for Thursday night you can forget it.
