Thought our halves were very good tonight, organisation later in the tackle count was very good from Obst. Very promising signs from the partnership imo.

The best thing about Obst is that he doesn't mind taking a whack and asks questions of the defence. If you was planning for Long you can pretty much ignore him and pick off the runners, Obst on the otherhand would go for the gap.

impressed with both horne and obst tonight ,combined well and good short kicking game but i thought we still lacked in the long kicking game...something we havent had since brough imo..

i thought they played well together, obst has definatley brought something else to the team and horne showed flashes of old and took his try very well too, obst was unlucky not to get mom

Obst was my mom aswell, thought horne did realy well allways looking to take the defence on and create something, deserved his try and took it well.

First post for me on here. I'm an Aussie who started following Hull's fortunes when Berro signed. I've also supported Wakefield as I'm a big fan of Sam Obst. Think Hull will bring the best out in Sam......he's always been a victim of "taking one for the team" and playing wherever a coach wants him to fill in. That's why Kear labelled him "a coaches dream." Sam delivers a lot off the field that people will never see......but teammates do. He's a tough bugger too and a fierce and loyal competitor. One thing for sure you will get 100% every week and if the coach lets him settle in a position I think you will see what a quality player he is.

He certanly offers us something we've not had for a long time.
