A great team does not have to be a team of big names. You only have to look at Leeds in the 80's 90's when they tried to buy success and it did not work. What it does need to be though is a team, players that work hard for each other and puts the coaches plans into action on the pitch.

Let's face it signing 2 or 3 big name players has worked so well for us in recent seasons hasn't it............

We have ended up with a small squad of players whose numbers have been made up by fringe players at best, once injuries have hit we have come to a standstill. I have faith in Pearson and Gentle to get it right for 2013, regardless of how we view the players we sign.

Just a thought but wouldn't it be better to let all of the signings be announced before saying what the team will be next season?!?

Bit early to start slating Gentle.

Personally I think he is a class coach and I am looking forward to the play-offs and next season more so when he brings in his own players.

Main worry for me is props.

Very happy with lynch and watts.

If we sign amor and Johnson along with bowden I would be a bit worried.

Would keep o meley for year.

If we dont sign chase I would keep Seymour as I feel he would be a better player with a decent halfback partner.

Could see heremia playing a few games at halfback or LF if needed net year also.

Not great, but certainly good.

There really is a fine line between waking the giant and feeding the monster sometimes.



Who'd be the next 8 to make up the 25 man squad? Horne, Whiting, Lineham and Crooks aren't bad squad players at all.

If you can get the Chase deal done, you'll be proper dark horses on a par with Catalans.
