| I’d also wait it out for a proper strike left centre now, we’ve plenty of options there now with Briscoe filling in and Litten back, would rather get the right player in.

Still wouldn't be surprised to see Deon Cross in a Hull shirt, maybe this season.
I just don't see what he brings. His best position is wing and we already have 3 wingers better than him (4 if you are including Rapana). He might get a game at centre this year but he's not the calibre of centre we need to be looking at for next year. I'd much rather give Litten an extended run there to see exactly what he can do. Besides, if the rumours about him not turning up to the meeting are true I wouldn't give him time of day anyway. He decided to stay loyal to Salford and his team mates and that's fine, but not turning up is straight up disrespectful. He can look elsewhere. Agree with this. I was all up for it at the start of the season but I actually think Hardaker and Chamberlain have looked better than I was probably expecting them to, and I was also going to say the same thing about Litten. He could be moulded into a really good centre. I'd at least use Litten for the rest of this season and even Westerman for the occasional game if we have a strong enough squad playing around him.Cross still would be a decent signing for squad depth, but if we are actively looking for a starting centre we need to be aiming higher We could have done with Cross having had Barrons injury. Hardaker is not young so we need a wing/centre. I think he and Chamberlain have been ok but both have been injured this season . We need competition and cover for positions in a sport increasingly Blighty injuries and suspensions. As regards not turning up for training:if it’s true how many of us would go to work if we weren’t getting paid so don’t think that’s an issue.

| Agree with most you say, but he was always going to be hit and miss at Hudds as he was 18 to 20, not mant players that age are consistant or goid enough. NRL is a different level too, just some of SL best players who have failed to make an impact in the NRL.
He doesn't have to be the best either, as long as he improves us, which I'm confident he will, then it's a good short and long term signing
