Mike Emmett charged with running in & throwing punches Grade C charge , 2-3 matches but has the option of an early guilty plea.

The sin binned Swinton player same charge as Emmett.
The sent off player for Swinton has been charged with sustained & repeated punching which is also Grade C.

With half-back injuries to both Jordon Abdull and Jordon Rankin in the Cas game on Thursday night. It looks as though they could well be needing Jacob Miller back.

Both factors could limit our options, especially so if Mike Emmett is found guilty.

Even more interesting on the Dons Official Site it suggests Emmett has been cleared .

Just checked the RFL site states Emmett cleared but then lists his charge so who knows ?

I was looking on the RFL disciplinary site last week and the Russ Spiers incident from much earlier this season was still showing as not cleared. I don't think the RFL are very good at updating these things for our league.

The news must be good, I would imagine, if the Dons website has given us the green light. We need a busy Mike Emmett at Dewsbury this weekend.

According to the RFL site today, the two Swinton players have been charged whilst Mike Emmett and Lee Waterman have had their charges dropped.

Let's hope this is right.

I know it says no charge but carry on reading & it gives a charge !
