Permit me if you will to put my Chris Smith hat on but has anyone else noticed the heightened off-field activity from our main rivals Leigh and Featherstone? Apart from pre-season video snippets we seem to be lagging behind in this regard in what is THE most important springboard season for a long time. We have a marketing guy heading the club but it all seems a bit flat. Far be it from me to criticise the club but I just feel we're missing a trick. I know that Simmons has been to the Sydney Roosters on a fact finding mission but what else is in the pipeline? Apart from the obvious on-field requirements we need a visibly pro-active back office to prepare for a SL launch if we really are serious. Or am I being too unkind?

My normal size hat won't fit your head LR, however I do have some golf club protectors you can borrow.....
I do hope we bump into one another on Sunday in The South Stand.... Be great to chat. I'll certainly look out for you.

This where my concerns arise from Rich.

Compared to Leigh and Fev we appear a bit low budget now, in all areas, squad, marketing etc.

Alex and TA were all over twitter before the new year but now, nothing. We do appear to be losing ground although I'm sure, behind the scenes, we're not.

As licencing proved though - image is everything

Thought I would spend a minute to bring you lovely people up to date.

Alex and co have been massively busy bringing more sponsors than we have ever had before. This allows us to build on a very solid foundation for the rest of the great events we have lined up.

This year you will see more videos, more social interaction, growing on-pitch entertainment before the games plus reactions from the coaching team for everyone to see after the games.

The information we have got from the Sydney Roosters has been fantastic but it has taken some time to put things into place.
