This has slipped under the carpet but....Featherstone have signed a DR arrangement with Leeds. Not only this but Leeds arrangement with Hunslet is still in place. Not only this but Featherstone and Hunslet have a DR arrangement in place as well! I kid you not! Look on totalrl.com. Thank God we haven't sold our soul and gone down this line....hang on!

Yes we are Dual reg with Leeds. Not ideal and not all Fev fans agree with it, but needs must I'm afraid. It's probably not much difference to us having the four players last season but that cost us 50k that won't have this season.

If you read the report correctly it says that Hunslet will still be able to use the medical facilities etc and maybe borrow academy players if they are ready. Hunslet are dual reg with us and can use our players.

Not sure how it can be a disgrace for us to dual reg with Leeds but not fax to dual reg with Hull KR

Fevfan, go back twelve months to the same topic and you will see that Pete feels very strongly about dual reg.
He is totally against our association with Hull HR as he is with all other dual reg,s.
Most of us are unhappy with the thought of D/R but accept it, some can't/won't
Pete and I had words last year over our differing opinions and we are bound to disagree this year, however I respect his view.
Don't take it personally.

Worked out ok for us last year didn't it John. Didn't get dictated to by KR and we ended up with Connor Robinson as our own player.

It's a disgrace for Halifax RLFC to DR with anyone. DR is a disgrace to Rugby League. In my opinion.
