Request for information
Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
Request
Can you please confirm:
1) Whether the Council has offered any form of compensation to Halifax RLFC for the cancelled match in June 2015? And if so, how much?
2) Whether any financial penalties were imposed on Halifax RLFC due to their rent arrears? (interest, fine, etc)
3) That all arrears were paid in the week commencing 7th March? (By the time a response is made with regards this request the arrears should have been paid)
4) The exact reason why HRLFC and FCHT pay different amounts of rent per month?
5) Ways in which the Council is looking at ensuring neither tenant can run up such large arrears?
Response
1. No.
2. No.
3. Not in the week commencing 7th March but, as at this date, no arrears.
4. Due to different provision with regard to shop premises at the stadium.
5. Such practice will not be permitted under the terms of the User Agreements. Should either Club be in arrears then immediate action will be taken to establish the reason why. If no extenuating circumstances are put forward then the Club will be reminded of the termination provisions in the User Agreements and, if appropriate, the right to use the Stadium will be withdrawn.

| I would like to know as a rate payer how much it costs the Council to research and reply to all these letters.

Backfired? How? It was a a follow up to a previous FOI request which showed Fax were once again in rental areas. Its had the desired effect of bringing the issue to the fore and getting Fax up to date with its rent commitments.

| Best of luck to FCHT at Wembley. I'll be watching the game on TV and hoping they win, but some saddo's that follow them (with a few HRLFC followers rising to the bait) continuing to whine about us sharing playing rights at the Shay. Neither club own the ground, both are up-to-date with their rent now, and we should be able to put things behind us and wish each other well.
That's my (genuine) wish, but it is only three hours from 1st of the month  |

That is one bloody expensive shop for the size of it and it is hardly a prime retail site is it???
Plus the club and especially Ian Croad kitted it out including putting in the security shutters after it got hit by thieves the other year, the cheeky sods at CMBC charging more for just that really??? |
