I've noticed today that Wigan have done dual reg deals with both Swinton and London Skolars, in effect triple reg! When will the madness end? It really is making our game a laughing stock and brings feeder clubs or clubs disappearing altogether one step nearer. The trouble is with people such as Ralph Rimmer in charge I see no way out of this shambles. A sad day indeed.

At least we haven't gone down that route this season and there are fewer clubs which haven't. I suppose we will have to see how Fev get on as they are sticking with Leeds and see if being a duel reg team really does have its advantages.

I've no doubt Fev will benefit from having Leeds players in their team, which club wouldn't? The thing is it won't be Featherstone Rovers will it? The main thing though is the overall and long lasting effects this system will have on the game. The powers that be shouldn't allow it but I'm quite sure they know who it is designed for and are quite happy for it to continue. But you reap what you sow and it will surely all end in tears. The best game in the world run by idiots!

Wigan are a Super League club so I don't think Mr Rimmer can be blamed anymore for the dual reg situation agreed by some clubs.
The Super League clubs do not want to run reserve sides and it suits them to enter dual reg agreements which go far beyond the original idea,agreed by the RFL,to give game time to young,inexperienced players.

The clubs won't give up their control and pass it to someone or some group of someones who have the wider interest of the game at heart.

All the decisions which you claim are made by Rimmer are, in fact, made by the clubs.

Consequently, the game is ruled by self interest and short termism.
