Linked with a move to Leigh next season. What are your thoughts on him? I know he has had injury problems.

He was excellent when he first joined us: a strong runner who works hard. But his performances have nose-dived this season - he has been getting caught out in defence too often, and his handling has been terrible. Which of these is the 'real' Vea is difficult to say.

Much like what Dux has said He's fine going forward just his defence lets him down

KC made a comment about him working down the middle in defence so he's not exposed out wide, he had a bad spell with ball retention but could be a handful in open play. Think the injuries he's picked up has spoiled some performance consistency, overall you could say satisfactory but not exactly tearing up trees at the moment.

His defence is awful. If you check my posts back from when he first came and playing, I pointed this out even then.

In his first year he was brilliant wirh the ball but was missing 4 or 5 tackles a game and that's not acceptable.

I've heard saints have told him, he can find another club.

He can only play prop imo

Im not sure why it took so long for us to try him at prop to be honest. He's done a solid enough job there.

Also heard that Leigh are taking Tasi off our hands too.

Tasi been a massive let down. So soft it's unreal.

He's been woeful. If Leigh are taking him off our hands then let's hope they lose the receipt.

I did mention on here just after you'd signed him that he was garbage, however it was on a thread bigging him up for getting into a fight with chris bridge when we played them that weekend, he went missing for the rest of the game. Apparently i was a bitter dire etc.

He's just not very good, these good 'impact' south sea islanders are very hit and miss, long hair and a scowling face doesn't make up for lack of talent.

I like Sims and i wanted saints to sign him but he looks avg this year and looks soft. He's trying to play like a fancy prop and not the hard tough stuff.
