First game is tomorrow. No posts about Saints for a whole week. What's happened here?

Yeah, pretty much. The only ones left on here are those like me who have been banned from Redvee.net or too cool to go there in the first place. Which is a shame as this forum was always the better of the two. But once a lot went, there was no one to talk to on here. Sad really because on redvee you don't get any interaction from fans of other teams, bar Rogues who is still allowed to turn every thread in the Wigan direction no matter how specific it is. I miss this forum a lot, never really got into Redvee as it's got too many people with the same viewpoint, 95% of them are Saintly Saints-can-do-no-wrong-and-cannot-ever-be-criticised do-gooders and the rest are annoyed to the point of insanity so they just criticise the club over everything and get sniped at by the god squad. Literally every post ever is the same.

Twitter is the last drinking hole for most after the two forums and that being what it is is only ever snippets of opinion that is rarely debated.

I,ll be back posting once the season is under way. Last couple of months been on red vee under another alias but just about had enough of that forum far too cliquey for me.

I'll be here. And with Saints being on tv 11 times in first 14 weekends, I'll actually be able to comment on matches/players for once.

its a shame Leeds forum is going the same way although that got a lot to do with certain posters spoiling every thread with bickering and name calling. but its the same across all these forums, been going on here for last 2 weeks to see saints fans views on the upcoming game and usually go on in the days aftermath of game, same with every club Leeds are playing. don't no if its a society thing were people just don't no how to have genuine debate and express opinion, and have a laff and understand genuine friendly banter anymore without retorting to abuse and name calling. its a shame really as all these forums even 2-3 years ago were pretty vibrant.

I think the rise in social media has killed off a lot of the message board culture.

I now mostly rant on Twitter as the game is underway.

There is 19 pages on the Leeds - Saints match thread... not that bad really although i do agree it is not all 'game related'



Just to add, such a shame about this Saints forum seemingly dead compared to 5-10 years ago used to enjoy reading the jousting on here amongst others. Glad to see Saddened is still around though

well thats true, but as you say you have to troll through some dross and there is at least two posters who ruin every thread, and every one know who they are.

really hope this forums recover as i have always enjoyed this one since switching from total rl forum.
