Whilst i am over the moon for Leigh, i feel that the RFL will take this as as "the formula works" and it will be at least 2 to 3 years before another team gets promoted to SL and only if you can spend, spend, spend on players.

As for our team.... if only we had won this ....if only we had won that..... if only we had played better!

I'm extremely unhappy that Leigh's promotion proves the system works.

It only works with a sugar daddy.

But the RFL won't see that.

Can't believe Leigh's promotion means Beaumont gets hammered. You lot should hope & pray for a man who's prepared to pay!! Even if he's marmite. Respect the achievement.

As a fan of a team that has experienced its fair quota of c|_|nts I feel we probably should sh|_|t up about other teams's c|_|nts. Beaumont may be a c|_|nt, but he's a Super League c|_|nt, and he's a c|_|nt who's never bankrupted his club.

I'm just pleased I managed to condense all my bitterness into a handful of drunken posts - now I can move on

Bit harsh on Derek, we've all been a bit miffed by his antics and outbursts at times, but fair play, he's backed his team with his money and achieved what he set out to do

Just want to add if nobody admits to been a bit envious, just remember Leigh fans/players/Derek will be waking up with an hangover this morning after achieving promotion, we are waking up looking forward to going to Workington in a Mickey Mouse comp

I'm happy for Leigh, they're a good club with a good bunch of fans. I say well to done to them and I hope we can join you in 2018.

I am envious - but they earned their seat at the top table. I just wish our lads could play like them.
