So this being the case, don't the RFL have to accept the new bulls back in to SL? If I were the new owners I would simply refuse to accept the 50% cut in the TV funding. Good luck in dealing with that a week before the season starts RFL, you only have yourselves to blame for that boneheaded cut anyway.

If the new bulls are still trying to pay their outstanding debts, they probably will avoid any penalties, but without reducing the debts it seems a case of kicking the problem down the road again. If they've no money now when all the season ticket cash is in, 6 months from now they'll really be up against it

How can they possibly avoid a points deduction ?
Although nobody can blame the Bulls for fighting their corner, having been in administration (for whatever reason) means that they should be deducted 6 points.
There is sure to be some small print to allow the Bulls and The RFL to wriggle out of any due punishment but, it's sure going to be interesting to see just how the story goes.

I'm not saying I agree with it, but the season hasn't started yet, so could avoid it on that alone

Didn't the Crusaders get a four point deduction when they went into admin in the off season?

More to the point. Trinity were apparently advised that should they have chosen administration last year rather than raising funds to cover their deficit they would have been out of SL altogether. Considering the Bulls are worrying about a points deduction obviously means that their SL status is safe. Lots of questions to be asked?

It will be a good test of the new policy of "no safe teams"

and the only reason they are bothered about points deduction is everyones favorite subject : P & R !!!!

What message does it send to prospective owners of clubs when they dont want to sell a club they will simply create a new club and transfer the assets? Or am i missing something maybe this is not the case here?
