| Everyone has been doing this recently. As I typed this ive just watched a Salford player do it. In sure it will be ignored for another few weeks, then penalised harshly for a round, then forgotten about again

Injuries to players caused this way are detrimental to the game, we've few enough quality players without some of whom we have trying to take fellow professionals off the pitch.
Are the refs supposed to shout held to stop the third man stuff?

| There seems to me that a large shift in the way the rules are applied has been undertaken? I have been pleased with the way the set restart & no scrums have worked out ( & I was very sceptical at first), but what has irritated me for a couple of seasons is that the defending side is policed with a very heavy hand yet the attacking side get away with everything. I don’t think I saw one correct play the ball all weekend, even at a controlled handover, most players moved forward of the mark to play the ball. I am all very happy with the speed of play but please will the referees give good safe tackling it’s reward by making the player restart in accordance with the rules.
Also penalise the voulantry there is no such thing as a surrender tackle, it is the duty of every player to keep the ball in play? It used to be a penalty if you deliberately knocked or threw the ball out of play.

| I have noticed the refs calling "find the ground" quite often which I assume is an instruction to move away from the obstructing prone tackler as opposed to standing up and playing the ball directly into them as we were complaining about last year.

No matter what the rules might happen to be at a given time, there will always be some trying to bend, milk, take advantage of, or any other way you'd care to phrase it.
