Once glance at twitter this morning, seems to be alot of disillusioned fans why Fages is being kept in then 13 at the expense of Evalds. One fan on twitter also suggested Evalds put a request in, inorder to get some game time? Unless that was you Talent Spotter?

Look at it from Nial point of view, not given chance by Noble, plays a half back at full back. Then we sign a world class full back (still think Locke would rip SL apart if his fitness and heads up for it) he then dislodges him to be our number 1. Then a young French kid, whom I've said my bit about him before, what has he done to justify, 1, moving our most creative player to full back and 2, keeping our player of the season out the line up, my mind boggles.

For people on Dobsons back, maybe he should of caught the kick off, but we saw with his kicking and towering bombs last night, his presence in the team is vital. Also IMHO, had it been Chase & Dobson in halves and Nial at FB last night, think we could of been 3 scores up in opening 20. All If's and but's I know...

Kept out of the team because of the chairman wanting to keep Theo, Evalds is a far better player than Theo get rid if he wants to go, otherwise we'll have Evalds handing in a transfer request next.

Said it on another thread, Harris made a sh*thouse decision tonight and instead of dropping either Dobson or Theo tried to fit all 3 into the team at the expense of Niall. Just because he's young, quiet and earning less than anyone else in that 17 last night it seems he was an easy target for Harris to ensure all 3 of Rangi, Dobbo and Theo were included.

Embarrassing.

It would explain why players who weren't in the original 19 man squad played.

In the right way I hope Evalds is injured as dropping him to play our most creative player out of position in a make or break game seems like folly.

Evalds is one of the most exciting talents I've seen for a good while in a Salford shirt, likewise Fages is deserving of the huge wraps he gets, for me the fact that we offered Dobson a 4 year deal is the worst bit of business we've done since the Doc took over.

I doubt Evalds feels the same type of restriction Theo does, there are not many youngsters who could have deputised for one of the best full backs in the world and in all honesty made his services even more dispensable.

A name not mentioned in this is Sean Long, it is well known he is a huge fan of Theo's and rather took him under his wing when he was at the club, if we'd have kept him I could see Theo and possibly Evalds career progressing at a much faster rate than currently.

Evalds has been having a blinder all season, Chase is best at stand off. WHY switch them about ?

Because it appears our coach is incapable of making a tough decision and managing the fall-out from such. Therefore, it's just easier to drop Niall who if anyone knows him is as quiet as a mouse and wouldn't say boo to a goose.

No coincidence that since Rangi, Dobson and Theo have been available (ie Wigan and Hull KR) Evalds hasn't started.
