Should have changed the 'Raiders' part of their name to 'Worriers' & hired some expensive lawyers to find loop holes in the rules. Would have got off with it no problem.

IMO Wigan's was worse. Yes they both breached the salary cap, but Wigan did it knowing full well they'd be relegated that year if not. Wait for the Cas outrage now...

hardly..... its just a case of pointing at a cheat and saying so.... everyone knows wigan's blatant disregard for the salary cap rules were dealt with VERY leniently..... this case with Barrow just proves that. |

How could they fit Gary Broadbent, Mark Gleeson, Jamie Thackray, Jamie Rooney and Ned Catic all under the salary cap.

Barrow did it to get promoted in 2008 and then get in a posistion to apply for SL for 2012 where they were stupid is they should have stopped once won the league in 2009 and focussed on other areas of their side, yet they continued to overspend with 'brown envelopes' won nothing else, not developed as a club and after being caught are now back to square one. |
