Hmm. Wonder if Ryan Sutton has recovered from his Shoulder surgery?

Obviously Rowley isn't going to be down in the mouth about it on the presumption that he was offered and accepted a player with whom he's had (positive) previous but it does paint a different picture of the player than our 'experience'.

Good luck to the bloke Rowley seems confident of being able to get a tune out of him.

Salary Cap room for a second signing could be an issue though, but I heard we started the season with Cap Space for an additional player and we have released Kasiano and Dudson since then.

Depending on how we’re using it on other players, he could be marquee and count £100k on the cap. I guess we are using it on King, Williams and one other? Dufty? Vaughan?

Is he worth that though, is the sub question.

Id be very underwhelmed if we signed Sutton and perplexed if we gave him marquee money.

I wouldn’t be fussed either, just using it as an example for cap space really.

I'd still like McMeeken in the squad next year, solid hard yards no nonsense prop, tried, tested and proven. Prop/second row, would demand a high wage though but i think he'd be worth it.
As for this year, Harrison, Vaughan, Bullock, Musgrove, Philbin, Wood and weirdly Crowther at prop might be all we need who knows. Plus Lucas Green in the wings. Still Got Nicholson and Tai to add in to the mix as well so we're not looking shabby at all.
