If the club gets its act together they could set up a members scheme incorporating a season ticket, access to the upstairs bar (until full or do a deal with Park Inn ) where players will be to mix with fans/kids, priority ticket access and a special issue retro members shirt for about £20 per month. If you start this in September you risk little and issue the Shirt in Jan/Feb. Also this could retain more revenue for the club if thought out properly.

a very similar idea has already been put in motion at the club for next season, this has been in the pipeline for a couple of weeks as meetings have already been held with people who have experince in marketing from outside the club (as they are also supporters their time is given for free), as further progress is made updates will be given.

What happens if somebody misses a payment? would it be £20 a month for the year or just until the season ends?

Been thinking about this one myself, although i think £20 is a bit in the dear side. I for one and i am sure many others would sign up to say £15 a month paid throughout the year inc off season ( full 12 months ) this means you pay out £180 a year for season ticket and new shirt, a bit more than you would pay now but more convienent on the pocket. Say we could get 500 to sign upto this ( hopefully more ) this would bring in £7500 a month to the club £90000 a year inc the full off season where the club would normaly be completley dormant on the money front, this wouldnt have to replace the season ticket, but would surely benifit the club more.

Don't know why but I beleive we have in the region of 800 st holders?

Get that up to 833 and the club is guaranteed £200,000 a year... (minus the cost of the replica shirts of course)
