Interesting that Eorl only gave away one less penalty than Mason yet not one person has branded him "disgraceful"; still, the masses will have their pound of flesh.

Well said jack,its a good job the lads got broad shoulders because he is contracted for the next 3 years, it looks like he will take the flak while the big one goes under the radar just think how good EC would be if he had half the aggresion of KM and how good KM would be if he had the size of EC.

i said at the game Eorl was poor yesterday and innefective, as were all our forwards - again !

Same with Ferres, whom I thought had a decent game, and tackles. Missed 6 yet we all know about Grix's defending.

Crabtree made 41 tackles (no misses) and over 100 metres at 7 metres plus a carry. That is very ineffective i must say.

Peanlties do get given away sometimes it is part and parcel of a tough sport. It is when they are given for totally stupid reasons like throwing the ball at someone that really irritates me.

Mason has given 21 penalties away this season and Crabtree 12 and Mason has probably played in half as many games.

Ferres spoilt his good work with his appalling handling.

Lawrence has some great stats again 46 tackles. He is by far our most consistant perfromer at the moment.

23 errors in total. that is the massive concern for me.

These sort of simplistic stats should be taken with a pinch of salt. We gave away too many penalties, yet we want more aggression, with more aggression runs the risk of more penalties. The simple fact is too many players are cruising for too many minutes in the game. How can that stat be measured?

Not sure how they come up with zero missed tackles for Fooey & Fa'alogo.They were part of the gang of 5 who allowed Matt Disprin to go under the sticks.Must assume that just casually throwing an arm out as the ball carrier goes past does not constitute an MT.

I want teams to say "We don't want to play at the "insert name of sponsors" stadium because we always get physically hurt there". I want teams to hesitate when they take the ball in against us. I want teams to say "I'm not going to hit that player cos one of his team mates will come steaming over and clean out my clock if I do". If we have to give away a few penalties to achieve this then more the merrier. Lets become the Big Bad Giants not the Big Friendly ones.

We were on the receiving end of such tactics from Bradford,and that's why we came up with so many errors.

Would think if he plays like he did on Sunday many of his games in 2013 and 14 would be reserve grade or on dual regisration. He will still get his money. Some players have little self respect and will happily play junior grade and take the money while others value themselves more as people and would hate playing in the junior grades. I have no idea where Mace would fit in on this.

There is more to it aggression and size. Minutes on the field, marker defence, errors, penalties, penalties when in possession (

) the ability to give quality off loads, tackle busts etc will all play a part. would think EC does well on most indicators.
