As we haven't finished so high in the table in so long, I'm a bit confused about the play offs.

Do we play the first weekend and third weekend (providing we win the league and providing we win in the first weekend)?

If so, we will be playing 10/11 September at home and Wigan Athletic have a game at home on 11th Sept. I can't see sky moving the game to Sunday so will we be expected to move grounds AGAIN?

Is this going to be a weekly thing?

Lets put it simple, forgetting what everyone else is doing.

We will play 4th place at home. If we win then we play the team of our choice in the 3rd week of the play-offs at home. If we lose then we play the lowest ranked team in week 2.

Can we not just pin a this is how the play offs work and no we dont have a clue what happens if Pathetics are at home to on the forum!!

I think they will move our game to the Sunday in place of the 6th V 7th match
But only time will tell

Regarding stadium availability and when/where we have to play our first round play-off match, I hope the club make an announcement pretty swiftly after the Huddersfield game if we've mathematically wrapped up the top spot.

Play-off Friday, Latics Saturday (if that's allowed - that's how it should be, based on the schedule)
Play-off Friday, Latics switch to Sunday (cat in hell)
Latics Saturday, Play-off Sunday (likely, though possibly up to Sky, and leaves a short turn-around to the next play-off round for the losers)
Play-off Friday in Widnes, Latics Saturday (can of worms opened, Whelan lynched)

I think it will be that simple this time BUT it would be nice if the club clarified our position.

Yes it woild be nice for the club to come out and say if we will play on the friday if not why not ?
