Quite clearly not happy at Bradford he loved his time at Wakefield a player that we should be signing young , british not happy to be at the Bulls would join us in a heartbeat . A player for the future this lad not a banged up old man that we keep attracting. Signings like this will get bums in seats not the likes of worrincey, reardon, etc

Dave Halley is happy at Bradford, he loves the club and was delighted to get 2 years. Why would he cut short that contract he was thrilled to sign?? ( And he signed it with offers from Cas, Wakefield & Crusaders on the table.)

It was very different times then, he was not getting on with Mcnamara, differences overcome and now he is gone so why would he want to come to Belle Vue

Was wondering when this thread would pop back up again. I think Halley is a great player and he would be a hude asset to the club. but with the signing of Kevin Penny i can only see Dave as a highly unlikly signing. Plus we are well covered at fullback.

He may have done, but that's because he wasn't getting played at Bradford.

He got played when he came back, and then chose to sign a new deal with us, when he could have easily jumped ship to Wakefield.

He's still getting played, he's happy and looking forward to working with Mick Potter. Why would he want to join Wakefield??

Because as you should know everyone who has ever played for Wakey would come back in a shot given half a chance because we are such a fabulous club to play for.
We are constantly getting calls from Gareth Ellis, Dave Solomona, Ryan Atkins, Peter Fox all wanting to come back.

You really need to get up to speed with these things.
