| How does a 'live' salary cap take till the next season to create an investigation?
I know any points deduction last year would not have changed much due to the 8's, but we may not have finished bottom  |

What does it matter if they get a 20 point deduction anyway? They were always likely to finish in the bottom four this season and thanks to the system in place they can just focus on the middle 8's, starting afresh then. Possibly losing out on one home fixture isn't the greatest of punishments and any accompanying fine will be chicken feed to Koucash.

The article in League Express the other week referred to Marc Green's (Bulls Chairman), allegation that Puletua was on £128k at Saints, but Salford allegedly signed him on an £80k contract, however Green claimed that one of Koukash's companies was also paying Puletua another £48k to make up the deficit.
I believe Green's allegation is that the £48k was not disclosed to the RFL ? |

Yes i have and they are a much improved side, but ultimately they are on 4 points from 5 games. Widnes are also flying and i think only one of the two could have possibly sneaked into the 8 and the vikings are the better of the two. Of the teams around them Catalans roster is excellent with plenty of depth and they will improve, as will Leeds and Huddersfield as they get players returning. I think all 3 will finish above Salford. So other than ourselves and Hull KR (and who knows with a new coach and a clearing of injuries what will happen there) who do you think are going to be in those middle 8's? I have them as 10th without a deduction and i'm sticking with that. |
