As a side issue has the club ever considered running a supporters trip or even chartering a plane on which players, officials and fans could even travel together.

Good point, makes much more sense for the rules to be outlined in one news letter published by the club, RFL or even Catalans.

It's been suggested before on here, but that's as far as it's probably gone, would be good for those that want to do it in the day and not stop the weekend, not sure if it would work now though with this Covid business and all the enforced regulations.

I'm not sure having fans on the same plane as players would be the wisest thing to do, especially if they've had bit to drink.

I've been on the plane three or four times and never seen no problems, if you think about it who in their right mind would want to pick a fight with Richard Moore or Monty Betham

Covid may be more of an issue than picking a fight with the players.
Just imagine if one of our fans was responsible for passing the virus on to the players & staff.

That's what I mean, It's not that simple like it was a couple of seasons ago, I doubt the club would be interested at the minute where as before all this business I'm sure they would have looked on it favourably if only to help cover expenses.

I'm still smarting from the Toronto fiasco. I managed to get a full refund on the flights but couldn't get a refund for the accommodation albeit the landlord of the apartment we booked has said that we can go whenever we want, but obviously it's not as simple as that

We got lucky as we hadn't booked accommodation but the flight refund took over 12 months to come back (in 2 stages).

Having said that Toronto is still a decent city to visit, even without RL. Every cloud........................

That's the difficulty going with Villas or independent letters, they don't have the luxury of relisting last minute and getting someone in. That extra couple of hundred quid is what they rely on, massive reason these big chains do so well because they know the holidaymakers will book based on the free cancellation and pay upon arrival. Difficult one!
